WILLEMSTAD – The Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou (FFK) has appointed Lesley Fer as part-time manager of the FIFA Forward program.
The appointment aims to strengthen the management, implementation and oversight of projects financed through FIFA Forward Programme.
The FIFA Forward Program Manager is responsible for developing, executing and monitoring projects funded by the international football body. Duties include project planning, budget management, reporting to FIFA and ensuring compliance with international governance and financial regulations.
According to the Curaçao football federation, the position requires a high level of professionalism, integrity and administrative expertise. The program manager also serves as an important point of contact with FIFA and is responsible for submitting both operational and financial reports on project progress.
FFK said Fer brings extensive experience in governance and program management. He currently serves as director of Risk Management and Disaster Policy at the Ministry of General Affairs and Foreign Relations of Curaçao.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Fer also served as the island’s national crisis coordinator.
