Legislation concerning public transport needs to be replaced

WILLEMSTAD - The legislation on public transport in Curaçao is no longer adequate. This was a topic brought forth by the Member of Parliament for the coalition party PAR, Stephen Walroud during the parliamentary debates this week.

In December he submitted a plan to tackle public transport because he states that a crisis is going on.

The legislation is now 60 years old and needs updating. Walroud states that public transport is an important social and also economic instrument.
