WILLEMSTAD - The last ladies of the Campo Alegre brothel have gone home. The Dominican ladies left earlier, but 24 Colombian employees could not leave because the border with Colombia was closed.

After 71 years, the open-air brothel at Hato has now really come to an end. The question is whether this will last long. A group of Dutch entrepreneurs plan to make a restart after the corona crisis.
