WILLEMSTAD - Throughout the year 2023, the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) introduced the campaign 'Orea pa Empresario' (Ears for Entrepreneurs). Through this campaign, MEO visited different neighborhoods in Curaçao to get closer to the (future) local entrepreneur. In this way, they try to break down barriers for the (future) entrepreneur to get necessary information or ask questions. During each 'Orea pa Empresario' session, the MEO management team, visited neighborhoods in Curaçao to discuss and deliberate on the challenges that entrepreneurs experience daily. During 2023, 'Orea pa Empresario' has already visited Bándabou, Otrabanda, and Montaña.
On Friday, November 24th, the last edition of 'Orea pa Empresario' will be even bigger than the previous sessions. On this date, 'Orea pa Empresario' will take place from 11 am to 9 pm in the business area at Sambil in the form of a fair.
There will be stands from different organizations and services throughout the day, providing all the information a person may need to realize their dream of becoming an entrepreneur or improving their existing business. There will also be various presentations and moments to ask questions throughout the day. Everyone is invited to visit this edition of 'Orea pa Empresario' for free during the day and discover how to overcome the challenges of being an entrepreneur and stimulate the growth of your business.
Something that makes this last edition of the year 2023 even more special is a session scheduled from 6 pm to 7:30 pm where all 8 ministers will be present to discuss and answer questions about ideas and challenges of being a local entrepreneur.
