WILLEMSTAD - 41 percent of corruption and fraud cases in Curaçao take place in the justice sector. Caribbean Network reports this following the thesis of criminologist Nelly Schotborgh.

According to Schotborgh, employees in this sector are more often exposed to major integrity risks.

Many perpetrators have a secondary or higher vocational or university education.
