Kranshi to Open on Saturdays in June for Registration

WILLEMSTAD – The Civil Registry Office (Kranshi), under the Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Public Service, has announced that it will open on Saturdays in June for registration purposes. Starting Saturday, June 7, 2025, Kranshi will be open for four consecutive Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

According to local law, all residents of Curaçao are required to register at Kranshi. In preparation for an expected increase in the number of residency permits being issued soon, Kranshi anticipates a significant rise in the number of visitors during the week. To ensure that all clients receive the same level of service, Kranshi has decided to offer additional hours.

These special Saturday openings are specifically for individuals who need to register after receiving a residency permit from the Admission Organization of Curaçao. No appointment is necessary for registration on these days. Once registered, individuals can make an appointment to apply for or renew their ID cards.
