WILLEMSTAD - Kolektivo, a Curaçao-based organization, is expanding its horizons with a project abroad: developing a climate action app for UNICEF. This project marks a significant step in Kolektivo's international expansion. 

Selected from over 400 startups, Kolektivo is collaborating with UNICEF to create a platform that encourages participation in climate action and development projects. 

Luuk Weber, founder of Kolektivo, recently participated in a kickoff event in Stockholm and is working with Mark Pereira from Kolektivo Trinidad on this innovative app. The pilot program will begin in Trinidad, aiming to involve local youth in food production. 

This development showcases how Kolektivo, originally focused on impact projects in Curaçao, is now expanding its expertise and innovative approach to international projects. 

The Kolektivo Curaçao team is a diverse and energetic group of people of different ages and backgrounds. They are working on projects that bring about positive changes locally and globally in communities and nature.
