THE HAGUE - Raymond Knops will step down as Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations soon. Kajsa Ollongren is back from long sick leave.

She is already in the ministry and is receiving an update on what has been done. She will officially take over her duties at the end of this month. This means that Knops will again become Undersecretary of Kingdom Relations.

Ollongren suffered complications after a medical procedure in which her sinuses were operated on and had to report sick as of 1 November in the interest of her recovery.
