KLM stops with printed newspapers on board

SCHIPHOL, WILLEMSTAD - KLM will stop offering printed newspapers and magazines on board starting May 1. The KLM Media app is also going down.

According to the airline, travelers prefer to use their own smartphone, tablet or laptop for entertainment. To meet this need, more and more KLM devices are getting Wi-Fi on board, but not the 747, because soon it won’t be part of the KLM fleet anymore.

Printed newspapers and magazines will remain available in Schiphol's own lounges.
