SCHIPHOL - KLM has a one-time offer for Curaçao students who want to celebrate Christmas on the island. The first 103 people who buy a return ticket Schiphol-Hato at the local KLM office will receive a discount. They save 103 euros on the ticket price.
Minister Plenipotentiary Carlson Manuel has managed to do that. Due to KLM's financial situation, it is not possible to offer a structural discount this year. The Curaçao House in The Hague will also give away four tickets, 2 from KLM and 2 from TUI. Last year, TUI offered a 30 percent discount to Caribbean students. The high prices made it impossible for students to go 'home' for Christmas.
