KLM continues with the 747 to Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD, SCHIPHOL - The Dutch aviation company KLM will only fly to Curaçao with the new Dreamliner after 1 October this year. It was previously planned to start using Boeing's 787-10 in March.

KLM has bought 8 of these aircraft, but the 747 Jumbo that is currently being used has 64 more seats per flight and that capacity is desperately needed to meet demand.

The 747 has been flying on Curaçao for 30 years and will be phased out next year.
