WILLEMSTAD - The new operator of the Curaço refinery, the Klesch Group will purchase oil on the international market. This was announced by the government of Curaçao.

Unlike PDVSA, Klesch does not focus on 1 country in terms of crude oil but looks at where and when the best oil can be purchased at the best price.

Klesch Group is set to take over the refinery in June this year. Meanwhile, the government-owned company Refineria di Korsou (Curaçao Refinery) will operate the refinery and ensure that the installations are kept in good condition.
