WILLEMSTAD - The Juliana Bridge will be temporarily closed during New Year's Eve. This is reported by the police. The bridge will be closed in both directions between 10:30 pm and 2:30 am.
Arubastraat, Hoogstraat and Presidente Romulo Bethancourt will also be temporarily impassable in the direction of the bridge around midnight. The police emphasizes that pedestrians and cyclists are also not allowed on the bridge around those times.
The police have indicated that there will be a large number of officers on the street around the turn of the year to maintain public order.
