WILLEMSTAD - On Sunday, May 5th, Teatro Norman de Palm in Otrobanda, formerly known as Luna Blou theater, will transform into a vibrant center of activity and inspiration with the event "Women Doing Good." This special event, organized by Spread the Love Curaçao and Yu di Tera, celebrates the power of femininity and community spirit as part of Good Deeds Day, a global movement promoting kindness and positive actions.
From 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, the doors will be open to everyone interested in themes such as herbal remedies, social media safety, and entrepreneurship among women. Visitors can also enjoy a market featuring local products, informative booths, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and live music.
Spread the Love Curaçao, known for its commitment to kindness and community involvement, is organizing this event for the third time in collaboration with Yu di Tera by Cindy Eman. Together, they emphasize the importance of women's well-being with a program that also addresses topics such as women's heart health and domestic safety.
Admission to the event is free. The organizers encourage visitors to contribute by donating female or baby products, which will benefit the Salú pa Tur clinic. "This event is an expression of our dedication to making a positive impact on people's lives, and we hope it will touch many hearts," says Yolanda Wiel, founder of Spread the Love Curaçao.
