Join the Curaçao International Airport on May 2, 2020 in remembering a true local hero, Margareth Abraham

WILLEMSTAD - May 2, 2020, will be the 50th anniversary of a tragic event. Margareth Abraham put the life of others before her own during ALM Flight 980 that ditched near the coast of St Croix and did not survive. The 24 year old Margareth Abraham was honored by naming the airport address after her.

Due to the current Covid-19 regulations, we are not able to give Margareth a remembrance ceremony the way she deserves. This is why we want to ask the community of Curaçao to help us in remembering our hero by means of a virtual ceremony. On May 2nd we would like you to remember our hero Margareth by posting virtual flowers in her memory.

This is what you have to do:

Step 1:
Download or screenshot the above posted memorial image of Margareth Abraham.

Step 2:
Upload the image to your instagram or Facebook story, wall or feed and add flower emoticons or flower gifs in the designated area.

Step 3:
Tag or mention Curaçao International Airport in your story or post. We will make sure to repost or share your posts or stories.

From the bottom of our hearts, WE THANK YOU!
