WILLEMSTAD - The former employees of Refineria Isla receive a first part of the agreed redundancy arrangement as soon as a tax ruling has been received from the Tax Authorities. This appears from an agreement with the trade unions. The unions expect the former employees to receive an initial payment in the first week of February.

What this ruling entails is unknown. But Refineria Isla is counting on it to be made in the first week of February. This is evidenced by a document signed last week by Refineria Isla together with the PWFC and Apri unions.
