Irritation in parliament because of behavior CPR

Local | By Correspondent January 23, 2023

WILLEMSTAD - Some members of parliament have become irritated about the behavior of the Caribbean Petroleum Refinery, CPR. The intended takeover candidate of the refinery and oil transshipment terminal is approaching individual members of Parliament but previously refused to come to Parliament on the invitation.

For example, on Facebook, among others, Member of Parliament for the opposition party MAN, Giselle McWilliam, responded with the message that she is not interested in any individual conversation. “The day we invited you to explain forged documents, you did not attend”.

Quincy Girigorie of the opposition party PAR was also approached by CPR for a meeting. One member of parliament from each party is said to have been approached by CPR.
