WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the new Special Representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Curaçao, Annemieke Verrijp, paid an introductory visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. During the meeting, they discussed the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Kingdom Ministry for the Caribbean countries in relation to geopolitical developments in the region. They also reflected on the upcoming celebration of 70 years of the Kingdom Charter on December 15, 2024.
