WILLEMSTAD – On Monday, April 7, 2025, the German Ambassador to The Hague, Mr. Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, paid an introductory visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. Also present at the meeting were the German Honorary Consul in Willemstad, Mr. Karel Frielink, and Ms. Darryllin van der Veen on behalf of the Directorate of Foreign Relations of Curaçao.
The discussions included potential German investments in Curaçao as well as the development of tourism from Germany to the island.
