WILLEMSTAD – On March 20, 2025, a delegation from the Organization of American States (OAS), the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and a representative from the Central Voting Bureau of Sint Maarten paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout. These delegations will serve as international observers for the Parliamentary elections in Curaçao on March 21, 2025.
The OAS delegation includes Mr. Martin Joseph Huenneke, Ms. Marina Alejandra Ulecia, and Ms. Maria Belen Ribulotta. Representing CARICOM are Mr. Corey Greenidge (Barbados), Mr. Jadnanansing Jay Rabindtranath (Suriname), and Mr. Brian Bellevue (Dominica). Additionally, Mr. Mario Gumbs represents the Central Voting Bureau of Sint Maarten.
Also present at the meeting were representatives from the Electoral Council (ER), including Ms. Richeline Joe (Chair), Mr. Benno van Leeuwen (Member), and Ms. Sheryl Losiabaar (Secretary).
