WILLEMSTAD - A Multidisciplinary Team consisting of the Curaçao Police Force, the Economic Inspection, the Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature, Customs, and the Tax Accountants Bureau Foundation closed one restaurant and issued multiple warnings on Thursday.
In total, eight establishments were inspected. Only one, Kun Shun Bar Restaurant, passed the inspection. The renowned Iguana Cafe, offering a view of the Queen Emma Bridge, was closed due to unsanitary kitchen conditions. Six other eateries received warnings, primarily related to missing customs documents or expired inspection certificates.
The inspections were conducted at dining establishments on Mambo Beach, including Pizza Mare, Su Viche 101 Origami Sushi, Bocas Restaurant, El Grill & Mexicano, The Greenhouse, Origami Sushi Bar, and a snack bar on Koraalspechtweg.
