WILLEMSTAD – Public Affairs, better known as Kranshi, has noted the circulation of information that does not apply to Curaçao, potentially causing confusion for citizens renewing or applying for passports.
Kranshi emphasizes and urges citizens to note that the regular passport fees remain unchanged. The cost of a passport is ANG 200.00 for adults and ANG 100.00 for minors, as established by law. All citizens with appointments starting January 6 will pay the standard fees for their passports, with no changes to the rates.
The Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Public Services regrets the dissemination of incorrect information, which could cause unnecessary confusion among citizens when paying for their new passports.
