WILLEMSTAD - The Public Health Inspectorate has announced that it will conduct an independent investigation at two departments of the CMC hospital due to tension on the work floor at the cardiac monitoring department and the operating room.
The investigation is being conducted by Inspector of Public Health Sirving Keli and is expected to take about four weeks to complete. The purpose of the investigation is to ensure that the quality of care at the hospital is not compromised. If the investigation reveals that the quality of care is at stake, immediate action will be taken to address any issues identified. The results of the investigation will be published once they are available. The Ministry of Public Health has emphasized that patient safety and quality of care are of the utmost importance and that the investigation is being conducted to ensure that these standards are being met.
