WILLEMSTAD - Police are warning livestock farmers in Bándabou about a rise in goat and meat thefts, with reports of such incidents on the rise. The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Authorities are asking residents to pay extra attention to unfamiliar vehicles and individuals frequently seen near farms. “Try to identify vehicles and individuals as thoroughly as possible and report all details to the police,” a spokesperson advised. Reports can be made via the central police number 917 or directly to the Barber police station at 724-6900 or 724-6905.
