WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Christina Kolerus, the IMF Mission Chief for Curaçao, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. Kolerus was accompanied by her advisors, Natasha Gimpelson and Ziad Amer, as well as José Torres, the IMF Mission Chief for Sint Maarten.
During the meeting, discussions centered on Curaçao's current financial and economic situation and the upcoming 2025 IMF Article IV mission. This mission will conduct a comprehensive analysis of Curaçao’s economy and provide policy recommendations for the government based on the findings.
