WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, June 19, 2025, Mr. Marnix van Rij, Alternate Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout. 

The visit took place as part of the IMF’s Article IV consultation, during which the IMF assesses and provides recommendations on the economic development of Curaçao. A detailed report by the IMF experts is expected next week upon completion of the consultation.
