WILLEMSTAD - There is a back-up plan in case the Netherlands does not grant the loan request from Curaçao. This is according to Clifton Walle, spokesperson for the transition to the new hospital.
200 million is needed to complete the hospital, but the Committee for Financial Supervision (Cft) indicated last week that additional information is needed before they give positive advice.
This positive advice applies to only part of the money. For the rest, slightly less than half, there is little chance that positive advice will be given.
Walle states that part of the money must be received by November 15 at least, otherwise they go to Plan B. He cannot say what this is.
