WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao government will again try to adapt the Sedula to the new political structure.
The identity card shows the Netherlands Antilles with a card from Bonaire and Curaçao, and on the back it says that the card is the property of the Netherlands Antilles.
The legislation to change is now almost ready. The new I.D. card, or sedula, also gets a chip with data from the holder. This allows travel to Aruba, Sint Maarten and the BES islands.
