WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao will participate in Kingdom-wide workforce planning reforms aimed at addressing severe healthcare staffing shortages .
Each country remains responsible for implementation, but a standardized planning methodology has been adopted.
Curaçao must now:
- Develop structural workforce plans
- Improve diploma recognition
- Retain local professionals
- Explore modular training programs
Given the island’s dependence on imported healthcare workers, structural planning is considered urgent.
