WILLEMSTAD – On July 8, Parasasa Hotel Curaçao will welcome the local heroes of the Hospitality Class of At Your Service, as they complete their "Grand Finale."

Twenty hospitality students from the At Your Service training and secondment agency will take their practical exams for Level 1 and 2 certification as restaurant employees. Over the past four years, these exams have been held at various hotels and resorts. With the prospect of a promising and constructive collaboration with the Parasasa Learning Hotel, this year marks the first time the exams will be held at this location — a significant milestone.
Students who perform well will receive an official SVH certificate from AYS. Following the exams, guests will be invited to tour Parasasa Hotel Curaçao’s newly renovated training center.
From 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, the students will serve a three-course menu to 60 guests. This event carries a strong social purpose — not only is it part of their practical examination, but it also emphasizes the importance of education and collaboration between the business community and the hospitality sector in nurturing the next generation of professionals. Additionally, the event aims to raise awareness about the diverse career opportunities within the hospitality and tourism industry.
Parasasa Hotel Curaçao, a state-of-the-art training center for aspiring hospitality professionals, offers 37 double rooms and 8 suites for both international and local guests. After an extensive renovation, the center officially opened to provide hands-on training in various hotel operations. The facility is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for a successful career in hospitality, guided by experienced teachers and seasoned industry professionals.
This initiative, part of the Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Training Centre (CHTTC), is a collaborative effort between ROC Mondriaan in The Hague, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), and the Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA). It serves as a dynamic platform for students from Curaçao and across the Caribbean.
