WILLEMSTAD – On April 9, 2025, the Governor of Aruba, H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, the Governor of Sint Maarten, H.E. Ajumi Baly, and the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout, convened for the Governors’ Consultation (G3) in Curaçao.
As part of the visit, the Governors were given a tour of the Mongui Maduro Museum and received a presentation by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) at the Parera Naval Base.
That same day, the G3+ Consultation also took place, bringing together the three Governors with the State Secretary for Kingdom Relations, Mr. Zsolt Szabó. This biannual meeting alternates between the Caribbean countries and the Netherlands and focuses on current issues of mutual and Kingdom-wide importance.
Also present at the discussions were Mr. Roald Lapperre, Director-General for Kingdom Relations, and Ms. Saskia de Reuver, Director of Countries within the Kingdom Relations Directorate.
