WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Mrs. Lucille George-Wout, received Mrs. Emily de Jongh-Elhage and Mrs. Maria Liberia-Peters due to their recent appointment as Ministers of State of Curaçao. Mr. Dominico (Don) Martina has also been appointed as a Minister of State, but he could not attend the reception.
Given their extraordinary service and their exceptional expertise in state and administrative law, the government wishes to involve them in addressing significant issues facing Curaçao's society today. The appointment was made upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Pisas, Vice Prime Minister Larmonie, Minister of Education Van Heydoorn, and Minister of State, Mr. Jaime Saleh, were also present.
