Government wants to start "Government Academy"

WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath received the visit of the Dutch Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Raymond Knops last week, who also visited Aruba and Bonaire during his first trip as a Minister.

Knops and Rhuggenaath discussed, among other things, the uncertainty with regard to the situation in Venezuela and the financial situation with regard to the growth agreement. Central to the growth strategy is that reforms are needed for economic development.

For example, the functioning of the government must be optimized by digitizing, improving payrolls and starting a "Government Academy".

This academy will be part of the Government Information and Communication Department and will have as task to inform the community about what is going on in the government.
