Government Urges Residents to Carefully Complete Online Prekario Registration

WILLEMSTAD - The Prekario Team is urging all residents who register online for a prekario permit to carefully fill in all required information to ensure their registration is processed and confirmed without delays.

A prekario is an annual permit issued by the government that allows individuals or businesses to temporarily use public land or space — for example, for kiosks, food stalls, containers, parking spaces, or small commercial structures. Because the permit must be renewed each year, accurate registration is essential for maintaining legal use of these public areas.

According to the Prekario Team, incomplete or incorrect online forms remain one of the main reasons for delays in processing. To avoid this, applicants are asked to double-check every detail before submitting.

Important Instructions for Applicants

The team highlights several key points:

Verify your email address to ensure you can receive the confirmation notice.

Fill in all required information accurately during online registration.

Enter your plot number using uppercase letters (for example, KV123) and without spaces between the letters and numbers.

Keep last year’s permit nearby so you can correctly enter all existing data into the new form.

The Prekario Team expressed appreciation for the community’s cooperation and emphasized that proper registration helps maintain an organized and efficient process.

Online-Only Registration for Sections D and C

Over the past two weeks, the team has focused on processing personal and administrative registrations for Sections D and C.
To streamline operations and make the process more accessible, the team has announced that all registrations for Sections D and C must now be completed exclusively online.

Residents are encouraged to follow the guidelines closely to ensure their permits are renewed smoothly and on time.
