WILLEMSTAD - The Government's Communication and Information Directorate (C&V) is set to begin a media research initiative aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the local media landscape. This project is part of the proposed budget for 2025.
The goal of the research is to monitor media developments annually, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Currently, there is no system in place to track viewership and listenership ratings for traditional media outlets.
In addition to this, the proposed budget includes funding for communication activities and initiatives aimed at boosting public trust in the government.
The government also plans to enhance the communication skills of its employees through targeted training programs, as part of a broader effort to improve engagement and transparency with the public.
