WILLEMSTAD – The Government of Curaçao has signed a management agreement with the organization Fundashon Pro Deporte Sint Joris. Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning, Mr. Charles Cooper, and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Mr. Sithree van Heydoorn, signed the agreement on behalf of the government.
The foundation was represented by its board members: Mr. Omero Da Costa Gomez (President), Mr. Juniel Carolina (Secretary), and Mr. Maikel Windston (Treasurer). Together, they signed the agreement for the development of the sports grounds in the Sint Joris neighborhood. The management agreement is valid for five years, with the possibility of extension.
Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting its importance in promoting youth well-being through sports and supporting organizations committed to the country’s development. Ministers Cooper and Van Heydoorn thanked the foundation and wished them every success.
