WILLEMSTAD - Several community and digital service initiatives will receive additional government support under the 2025 Supplementary Budget.
Pasku Fiesta di Lus
The island’s popular holiday celebration, Pasku Fiesta di Lus, will receive Cg 850,000 to cover projected costs and ensure the event proceeds as planned. The government considers the festival a socially important initiative that contributes to community cohesion, culture, and public enjoyment.
Digital Improvements at OUVV
The Traffic and Transportation Implementation Organization (OUVV) will receive Cg 17,458.20 to upgrade its web application. The improvements aim to streamline service delivery, reduce staff workload through automation, and enhance public access to digital services.
Personnel Adjustments for 2025
The government also confirmed several payroll-related adjustments, including:

January 2025 step advancement and 3% lump sum
Bashi premium
Vacation allowance increase from 6% to 8%
Recruitment for vacancies opened in late 2024
These changes are covered internally through a shift within the salary provision, ensuring no impact on the overall budget.
