WILLEMSTAD – The Council of Ministers has taken note of a response submitted to Parliament regarding advice from the Council of State of the Kingdom in connection with the 70th anniversary of the Kingdom Charter.
According to the government, the response was presented to Parliament on February 26, 2026. The document addresses recommendations issued by the Council of State concerning developments within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The matter was discussed during the Council of Ministers meeting of March 11 through the Ministry of General Affairs.
The Charter of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which regulates relations between the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, marked its 70th anniversary this year. The document remains the constitutional framework governing cooperation and responsibilities within the Kingdom.
