WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao employs more people than they previously reported. Around 4100 civil servants are supposedly employed according to the official registry of the government.
But in reality, there are an estimated 6,000. Curaçao.nu reports this following a study by economist Marinus Imthorn. But the economist says that incidentally, with 6,000 civil servants, the government apparatus is still relatively smaller compared to other countries.
