WILLEMSTAD - Goddard Catering has started the solar panel project. These panels will be placed on the roof of the shared business premises with KLM at Hato. Goddard Catering takes a significant step towards sustainability through a partnership with KLM and Dynaf.

The aim of generating solar energy on the roofs is to reduce energy costs and limit CO2 emissions. Additionally, Goddard Catering wants to contribute to a cleaner living environment. In this grid-connected solar panel installation, 430 panels with a capacity of 415Wp each will be installed. The solar panels will be spread across multiple roofs and can produce up to 178.5kWp of solar energy at peak performance. The panels will directly supply the generated energy to the building itself.
With the implementation of this project, Goddard Catering not only fulfills its own sustainability objectives but also contributes to those of Curaçao as a whole.
