WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament and leader of the MAN-PIN party, Giselle Mc William, has proposed a "healing session" aimed at reducing tensions between the MFK and PNP parties. The proposal comes in light of growing discord between the two political groups, and Mc William hopes that such a session could foster dialogue and ease the strain between them.

The call for a healing session came during a meeting focused on the elimination of the 12.5% wage cut for civil servants, where the debate largely revolved around the ongoing rift between the MFK and PNP.

PNP parliamentarian Sheldry Osepa, speaking during the discussion, emphasized that the PNP’s position in the government was centered on good governance, oversight, transparency, and dualism. "Sometimes, people don't like you and push you out because they don't want you," Osepa remarked, underlining the division between the two parties.

The meeting sparked heated exchanges between various political figures, with reactions from other parties intensifying the discussions. Despite the conflict, Mc William stressed that collaboration is essential for the well-being of the island and called for greater efforts to restore unity among the parties.
