Gasoline price slightly up, diesel price slightly down

WILLEMSTAD - The tariffs for gasoline and water will increase slightly from 29 September and the diesel price will decrease. Electricity is also getting cheaper. The tariff for propane gas remains unchanged. Bureau Telecommunication & Post (BTP) has announced this.

From the new month onwards, the user pays 1.902 guilders at the gas station for a liter of Mogas 95. Now this is still 1.896 guilders per liter. Diesel is now 1.516 guilders, but will be 1.505 guilders from September 29.

The price for a 100 lbs propane gas cylinder remains 70 guilders. For a cylinder of 20 lbs, the price remains 14 guilders, according to the overview of BTP.

Electricity will be slightly cheaper in October, just like diesel. The lowest household rate for electricity is now 57.9 cents per kWh, but that will be 56.8 cents from next Tuesday, according to BTP.

The water tariff will increase by 2 cents in the coming month. Households with a consumption of up to nine cubic meters (m3) per month will soon be charged 8.21 guilders per cubic meter. That is now still 8.19 guilders.
