WILLEMSTAD – The Plòns Foundation wants an open conversation about HIV and AIDS in Curaçao. To this end, the education platform has invited various media. The talk called KomberSA will take place next Thursday.
The conversation will be about preventing stigmatization and discrimination. Information about prevention and obtaining the right treatment will also be examined. The meeting starts with a presentation with information about the virus. Plòns Foundation invites all interested parties to participate in the conversation.
In 2001, almost 1250 people on Curaçao were infected with HIV, just over half of whom were treated for this.
The KomberSA meeting will take place on Thursday, January 12 at 10 a.m. at Avila Beach.
