WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao has allocated four million guilders for the development of the Little League Ballpark at Cirilo Chirino Ballpark. This project is a collaboration between the Ministry and the Curaçao Sport Development Foundation (FDDK). 

The aim is to significantly improve the sports facilities for young baseball players. A proposal has already been made to organize a farewell match between teams from Liga Pariba and Liga Pabou, called the Farewell Baseball Tournament. This event is intended to mark the beginning of a new era for the Little League Ballpark. The organization of the event is now in the hands of FDDK.
