WILLEMSTAD - The stadium of the football association FFK in Brievengat was renamed the Rignaal 'Jean' Francisca stadium on Sunday December 19.

The stadium is now named after former president Jean Francisca who led the association for 19 years. In September 2019, he stepped down as president of the football association.

The unveiling of the new name was in the hands of Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas, Minister of Sports Sythree van Heydoorn, chairman of FFK Shaheen Elhage and the honored with his family.
