WILLEMSTAD - Burney "Nini" Fonseca does not want to be transferred to Curaçao. In summary proceedings behind closed doors, he demands to remain imprisoned in the Vught prison in the Netherlands.

He is serving a 26-year prison sentence for being involved in the murder of the former Member of Parliament Helmin Wiels in May 2013.

According to lawyer Marije Vaders there are no indications that he is no longer in danger in Curaçao. His entire family now also lives in the Netherlands. The verdict is next month.
