WILLEMSTAD - The first baby of the year was born in the Curacao Medical Center on January 1 around half past three in the morning.

The boy's name is King-Xendriyon Philips.

The baby and his mother are doing well. Members of JCI Willemstad have traditionally visited the mother and the baby and presented them with a series of gifts.
