WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) made its first arrest on Monday evening in connection with the fire in Groot Santa Martha. Authorities are investigating the incident as an act of arson.
The fire resulted in five people being injured, including an 11-year-old boy who sustained serious injuries. Earlier, Prime Minister Gilmar ‘Pik’ Pisas mentioned the possibility of a Molotov cocktail being involved, but the police have yet to confirm the exact cause.
