WILLEMSTAD - It has opened again just like every year. Then the outlets for fireworks open. The fire brigade advises people to carefully read the enclosed instructions when setting off fireworks. It states exactly how the fireworks should be lit.

People should do nothing else but what is on the instructions and try to prevent unsafe situations, says fire department officer Ditmar Oleana prevention department. The points of sale have been opened since December 27 and will sell fireworks until January 1.
