WILLEMSTAD - The popular Angelo store in Madurostraat in Punda was seriously damaged by fire yesterday. It started around noon but was quickly extinguished after the fire brigade arrived.

The fashion store is not completely burned out, but there is a lot of smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The fire brigade believes that there are problems with the electrical cables which could have caused a short circuit.
